I’ve been practicing yoga since I was a university student 10 years ago but didn’t deepen my practice or think much more of yoga than a physical workout until I took Yoga Teacher Training. Now I come to find that yoga is a lifestyle, or at least it is for me.
Yoga is a lot like nature. A cycle of renewal and rebirth. A paradoxical force that gives life but is also beautifully chaotic and transformative. The duality of yin and yang to yolk the mind and body to be in balance of the whole.
The practice of yoga grounds me like the root of a tree. It enriches me through the connection of air providing life into my body and being watered by the canopy of this yoga community. Then in return, it allows me to hold good space, create growth to expand, and feel steady through the weather of any storm or season.
